General Counsel
Joy Weber, General Counsel, began her career lobbying the Maryland General Assembly and Executive branch Annapolis with the law firm Rifkin Weiner Livingston, where she refined her understanding of the intersection of law and government through representation of clients in the energy, gig economy, higher education, and general development sectors. She joined a then-client in their mission to advance the development of offshore wind. With Deepwater Wind, Ms. Weber established the Maryland office and played a pivotal role in the development of the Skipjack Windfarm. After its acquisition by Danish firm Orsted, Weber continued her work in market initiatives, collaborating with experts from diverse backgrounds along the US East Coast and internationally.
Ms. Weber recently completed her MBA from the University of Virginia Darden School of Business, enhancing her strategic and managerial skills. Her entrepreneurial spirit led her to the realm of electric vehicles, where she consulted for Subway to design the innovative Electric Vehicle Charging Oasis. Additionally, Ms. Weber serves as a Senior Advisor for SharpRank, an independent evaluator in the sports betting consumer protection industry
